I need to have 90% of my piece for composing for voice finished by next tuesday, but this is the style that I like to write in, and I can’t really incorporate that into my piece. there’s no way to get that texture, because my assigned ensemble is soprano and viola.

4 Well! So last night was a hit. I played a big reunion show in a small town last night. Almost all of my classmates were there. We must have 6 or 7 different performers or bands playing. The music started at 8:00pm and didn’t end till 1:00am. So much food, music, friends, and alcohol. Good thing the fire marshals didn’t walk by. This place’s limit was 70 or so. Yeah. We exceeded that number by quite a bit. You couldn’t move. It was awesome. I’m posting another song I played last night. I hope you enjoy this as well. Happy Holidays. This whole score is really quite good, and having listened to a lot of this guy’s music (thanks to Shaun) I can tell that there’s this one motif he puts in almost all of his works that is just so pretty. It’s like it’s his life melody.
There’s a line I play over and over again in most of the things I write, and at least that’s how I like to think of it.
